Does it matter whether or not I live in your area (Central Florida) or if I'm even in the USA?
No, it doesn’t matter where you are located, Munk Web can create a website for you just as easily as the customer who lives around the corner. Usually, all of the files (photos, music, video, documents) are transferred by e-mail or uploaded to a designated upload site.
I don’t know anything about computer files or uploading, can I mail you everything I want on my site?
Yes, you can send a package with photos, CD’s, DVD’s, brochures, business cards, etc. We can scan your photos, transfer music and video from discs.
I already have a website, can you fix it up a bit without redoing the whole site?
No, we do not fix other people’s work . It takes more work trying to correct a website site than it does to build it correctly from scratch. But, we can use the files (jpegs, mp3’s, mpg’s, etc.) and current information, which would save you the trouble of having to send me the files.
Can I use my current domain name?
Yes. As long as you have correct information needed to manage the domain name then we only need to change the DNS servers that are listed under your domain. Unfortunately, many people have not saved this information in a safe place or let someone else register their domain and now have no idea how to do this. We can usually track this down for you and help you regain access to your domain.
How can I sell items on my website?
To sell products or services on your website you’ll need an account with 2CO (2CheckOut.com). You’ll be charged a one time set up fee of $49, there are no monthly or yearly fees. A small percentage of each sales transaction goes to 2CO with the rest going to a designated bank account, which you’ve set up in advance and given 2CO access to. For details you can go to their website.
Can I sell anything I want?
You can sell anything you own the rights to or have legal permission to sell, including digital downloads through your account with 2CO or PayPal. 2CO will not allow any adult content to be sold via their service and have many strict rules relating to copyright infringement and proof of ownership with the right to sell. They will take a look at what you will be selling before giving the final go ahead on your account. This is why PayPay is the more popular of the two, but each one has different advantages. Obviously, these aren’t the only options available for selling your product on the web. The choices are growing in number every day.
